What’s I Am My City Story?
I Am My City was founded in 2016 in Detroit Michigan. The city at that time went through a dark era and communities within the city limits turned to each other for support. I Am My City meant community, progress, working together to rebuild what was once was fallen city. We operated for years as an apparel brand with proceeds supporting I Am My City Parks, a non profit that focused on the clean up of blighted neighborhoods to repair a sense of hope. Today I Am My City operates as a consulting company to bridge the gab between corporate and community. We help find opportunities to fulfill the initiatives of our clients. Our apparel now speaks to a cleaner, greener future for humanity and the planet.

The organization was created to help curb blight in underprivileged communities. I Am My City Park’s objective is to create an inviting space in underprivileged neighborhoods. Ultimately creating a welcoming environment for communities to have a safer and enjoyable experiences. The Parks serves as an enjoyable space to enrich and enhance what is slowly becoming another revived neighborhood. The goal is to become a staple in the community.
